Over the decades Weldon has been a source for critical thermal management systems on military avionics and supplemental cooling systems. As we are in the era of Electrically powered or hybrid aircraft development, we have been fortunate to continue this work in thermal management utilizing our pump mechanisms to assist in cooling the aircraft batteries.

For years, traditional centrifugal water pumps have been commonly used in standard thermal management. However, with the growing demand for aviation quality pumps to meet the demands and flows of new systems, the Weldon style positive displacement pumps have been called on to provide legacy, safety, and performance. Our positive displacement volumetric pumps can offer an effective approach to managing the thermal needs of electric aircraft.
